|A passionate long-distance runner, I also offer personal training sessions. I pride myself on my ability to inspire my clients to begin or continue a fitness journey, enjoyably and sustainably.
I am a people's person who pays great attention to the individual needs of clients. This is why most of my clients are long term ones, who believe in me and in whom I believe.
The recipe to stay and feel fit consists of 4 ingredients: a) Regular workouts; b) Healthy eating; c) Motivation & d) Consistency.
It's easy enough to do workouts and eat healthy on one's own. But the critical ingredients of this recipe, i.e. motivation and consistency is what I provide. I accompany my clients on every step of their fitness journey, encouraging them when they need it, praising every milestone big or small. Every client's journey is my journey too.
I discuss my client's goals and draw up a fitness and lifestyle regime, targeting the achievement of those goals. Be it completing a half or full marathon, dropping some unwanted kilos. When a client is unsure or hesitant, we mutually agree on goals and set milestones.
My client Ashok who has been training with me regularly once said: "Indi you might not have the elites, but you have the best." And he was right. Because the best are those who are willing to commit and persist. The members of the training group are a huge source of encouragement and support for each other, making group trainings fun and exciting.
Size and duration: Group trainings consist of 2-4 individuals and is for an hour. Once a month, I conduct a longer group training session of 2 hours which is open to larger groups (temporarily on hold due to Govt. restrictions in place).
Training days: Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Location: Weekend trainings are conducted outdoors in the city of Zurich. In bad weather, it is indoor training in a studio. Tuesdays and Fridays are online sessions, at this moment.
Types of training:
diverse range of movements
low to high intensity cardio
full body training/ specific trainings focusing on cores/ glutes etc.
free-hand, stability & body balance workouts.
working out with TRX/ resistance bands or weights.
running drills/ specific training for 5 k, 10k, half or full marathon.
